How Do I Email the Entire Community?

The best way to email your entire Community is to post an Announcement. This message is automatically emailed to everyone on your behalf.

To add an Announcement, visit the Announcement Tab. There is a purple button on the top right corner of the page that says, “Add an Announcement” click here to post your update!

 

How Do I Remove Myself from a Community?

Coordinators are the only people with the ability to remove an individual entirely from a Community web site.

If you prefer, the Member Support Team can take care of it for you with clear permission to do so. Please Contact Us with the name of the Community you are to be removed from and we will take care of it from there. We will send you a confirmation when the process is complete.

I Forgot My Password, How Do I Log In?

Please click here: Forgot Password and input your email address. You will receive an email in the next half hour that will guide you through resetting your password.

Note: Make sure your new password contains 8-12 characters including an uppercase letter and a number.

 

What Do I Do If I Receive an “Invalid Email” Message?

If you have multiple email addresses, please try each of them as you may have registered with a different email address. If the problem persists, please click here to Contact Us and provide key information including your email address.

 

Joining a Community

 

How Can I Find the Community I Would Like to Join?

Please visit the Join Community page here: Join Community to enter some information about the Community you would like to join. It’s important to type a phrase that will exactly match the Community Name.

Helpful Tip: Not sure if the Community Name is “Mary’s Helping Hands” or “Mary Needs Helping Hands?” Sometimes the Community is more easily found if you type “Mary” or “Mary’s” if you are unsure.

Where Is Vital Information on the New Site?

The ability to create ‘vital information’ does exist in a different format on the new site. You can access this information under Community information:

  1. On your Community Homepage, go to “Edit Community Information” located directly below your Community picture.
  2. Insert your vital information into the text box labeled “Additional Information for Members.”

All Members will have access to this information and it will be visible at all times on the Home Page.

 

Is There a New Version of Lotsa Helping Hands?

If you’ve just signed in and are surprised to see a new ‘look and feel’ to your Community, welcome to the latest version of Lotsa Helping Hands!

We recently re-designed the entire site and released a new version on November 20th, 2015. With this release, we changed some of the features and will be making additions periodically. We’ve made every effort to maintain the friendly, helpful and easy-to-use feel of our previous version, guided by the principle that no training should be necessary to immediately begin using your Community.

The old site functionality can still be accessed by creating a Community here: https://mycancercircle.lotsahelpinghands.com/

Please note that this will create a My Cancer Circle branded Community, if you would like regular Lotsa Helping Hands branding, Contact Us to change it to a Lotsa Helping Hands community.
